My Ride: 2005 330ci ZHP
Suspension Refresh Advice: 05 ZHP

Hello Everyone-

A little background information about my car and my capabilities:
Car:05 330ci ZHP; Auto; 84k miles
Mods:Bone stock
Recent Maintenance done by me in the last 5k miles:
  • Oil change
  • AT fluid and filter change
  • Differential fluid change
  • Spark Plugs
  • Air filter
  • Fuel Filter
  • Beisan VANOS seals and anti-rattle kit(Rebuild done by smolck)
  • VCG and grommets

I am a noob when it comes to suspension(and everything else ) and after reading some threads, I think I need FCABS(steering kinda clicks and centers itself when I brake in very low speeds).

I think I should replace the FCAs as well and do the RTABs. I was also looking to do my shocks as well if the price is right.

Should I just get this kit(oem part#33500429577) which includes shock, struts, FCAs, front sways and accessories and just get the FCABS and RTABs seperately OR..... get koni yellows, accessories, oems FCA(B)s aand RTABs.
I have read some bad reviews on the Meyle HDs FCA kit. How bad are they?

Also, should I do the whole thing myself or just get a Indy shop to do it. If so how much will labor be? I dont mind spending 300-400 on labor.

I dont plan on tracking my car. The roads in Pittsburgh are HORRIBLE and i just want something that will treat me till December 2014 and the next owner beyond.

Thanks,
Faiz

trust me, i went through your cooling links and then some. very good info. thank you!

i have been doing research and i think i will go with koni fsds, oem fca, oem fcabs, rtabs(dont know if i should do m3 ones or meyle hds) and limiters, and all necessary mounts and accessories. really not looking forward to doing it myself because i have to get all those tools and it is cold as F&*K now. i am waiting for it to get warmer to do all this and a cooling overhaul(minus the radiator). shooting for sometime in march. at least the next guy who owns my car wont have to wont about anything.
