Yup, confirmed. Four handguns and no rifles. Additionally, lanza tried to purchase an AR15 near Danbury a week prior... Denied by existing laws.

He also had some sort of prior altercation with four staff members of the school prior. At gym cannot link video but it's all over the place now.

We all know the AR-15 is the poster child (and subsequently lightning rod) for gun violence. There is no real justification for it. Rifles make for rather inconvenient weapons when trying to be sneaky and be evil with intent. They are kind a hard to hide in your clothing.

My AR is the LAST gun I'd use for home self defense. (Unless I am defending marauders from coming in.) I'd grab my H&K USP or shotgun first. Easier to use, more mobile.

This was just misinformation, the medical examiner confirmed .223 was used on all victims in the school and a handgun was used for suicide.

Edit: If all the shots 'were' with a .223 then why was the Long Gun in the trunk of a car outside after the kid shot himself inside? It's hard to carry things out to the trunk when you are dead. IMO the actual report needs to be released before we can call things facts. And hopefully the report is true to the events.

By watching the live vid from the news cast,the rounds were hand cycled out of the weapon using the same means as clearing an AR,not a shotgun. I'm no expert,but that is what I saw. With 90% of the media not knowing the difference between clip,magazine or automatic and semi-automatic I will believe half of what I see and none of what I hear. Facts are hard to come by these days. It seems more like truth was banned.
