Lowest part of an e46 Sedan.
When going over a speed bump i ever so slightly tap the bottom of my car. Im thinking its hitting the cross brace, i just want to make sure im not knocking on the oil pan. Ill just continue to go over speed bumps sideways

I think the jack pads would hit first then the crossmember. The oil pan is tucked up above the crossmember so you "should" be fine.
