I'll have to get some pics of my place added.
There are some good looking homes in this thread.

@chad - having that so close to your house would be awesome!

It's actually Lake Michigan. I'm not near Erie.

I don't really miss CA . . other than the scenery. Manhattan Beach was a blast in my 20's, where I lived 4 blocks from the sand and 3 blocks from a bunch of good restaurants, bars, etc. I had some misgivings about moving to OR after a few years in Portland. But I'm loving Central OR. Lot's of great outdoor recreation. Solid beer scene. Food scene isn't great except for good beef, but it appears to be improving. Honestly, if you're in your 20's and looking for an active social bar scene in Bend you have to (i) grow a beard and become a beer geek, (ii) have to enjoy hanging out in dive bars with an aggro blue collar crowd, or (iii) enjoy rubbing elbows with 40 yr old yuppies.

I'm now 40, married with a kid and have to come to the point in my life where I am perfectly happy only going into town once a week or so, so this setup works great for me.

I love that extra door that lets you lie in bed and still access the outdoors. That is the epitome of baller, in my book.

It's not frozen, your weather is warm enough.

Here's a shot of my place from the interwebs, I'll get better pictures later. 3 car garage with 17ft ceilings FTW!

One from last fall. Still have yet to get pics of the back yard, but several projects will be transforming that space anyway.
