$20 HID kits slapped into yellowing fading headlights or worse yet, aftermarket headlights.

Is there really not a single way I can convert my halogen projectors to xenon?

Of course there is. Tear open the assemblies, rip out the stock projectors, and replace them with something like E90 projectors.

If it wasn't offered on your model as an option, don't install it on your E46. My short list consists of Angel Eyes, 19" wheels and M3 bumpers.

I got one because it was cheap. It looks ok but I really wanted the MTechII. Too expensive though.

CSL bumpers on non- Ms are slightly annoying. Mostly on sedans.

any rims with streched tires. If the rim with it's proper tire size doesn't work than that rim doesn't fit.

Pre faces look pretty good but facelift sedans with m3 front just look hideous

I thought painting my calipers pink would make the car look sharp. Might have, but I used house paint and it didn't take too well.

On a budget... I'd probably go with the morimoto mini H1 projectors. Stupid easy to install and give off a pretty good light pattern. What I don't like about them however is that they don't take D2S bulbs (so you're forced to use aftermarket bulbs). I don't think the D2S version fits as easily.

If you're wiling to do a proper retrofit, I would go with the RX350BX projectors. Some day I intend to retrofit those myself.

OE or replicas? size issues? I know lexus projectors (or any projectors other than E46 for that matter) are huge.

Yeah but will those work with the facelift coupe lights? they are completely different than the sedan lights and prefacelift models.

Oops, didn't see he has a facelift coupe.

I *think* the E46 AL projectors bolt right up to the facelift projector's mounting points. That's probably the way I'd go.

I have a hard time trusting you because every time I see your sig, I assume it's you, and as such...well, you understand.

Now, if your sig was Marissa on the hood of my car, I'd get those hid blacklights, whatever they are, in a flash!
