Weird request, maybe one of you can help
I'm looking for a temperature profile for the first ~25 miles up. I need actual numbers, not a graph. I've found some stuff on NASA's site but nothing I can use so far. Or maybe one of you can tell me how to look at the data in this zipped file. ftp://acdisc.gsfc.nasa.gov/data/s4pa...19_C01_PROD.gz

I use US Standard 1976. Still an industry benchmark for aerodynamics. But there are many variations of the standard, including geo-specific locations. But I doubt you are going into that much detail.
Here is an online version that is good enough for government work. US Standard Atm 1976 Edit. Full document with full tables.

Those are the values over Wilmington, figure it's the closest place to you, but you can look at the map and figure the rest out. Sorry I can't help with the remaining 15 miles, but the winds and temperatures get fairly stable in the stratosphere.
