I got a ticket in October. I was going 25 over, blew past a cop, took it like a man. My lawyer got it reduced to illegal parking and it will cost me $260. I didn't make a thread whining about it since the cop was doing his job enforcing the law and I was clearly in the wrong.

This is the 3rd this month, so at that pace we're looking at 1/week. That is far higher than your silly claim of 1 every 7 months. You're adorable.

You might want to brush up on your reading comprehension Ray. He said nothing about the frequency of these threads. He did say he "always" finds them amusing though. I don't know how you inferred that to mean "these threads are posted all the time."

LOL you serious? Maybe the black limo tint, but %32 is a good shade and keeps the interior somewhat cool in the hot Georgia summers. Window tint is necessary, but fvcking tint it within the law so you don't run into bullshit like this. It's that simple.

If what you say is true, a dashcam would have saved your ass. Get one.

This boils down to are you riding dirty with your tint or not? I assume the OP is not legal because he never answered any questions regarding how dark his tint is. Doesnt matter if a cop lied, if youre tint is wrong, you gave the officer a reason to pull you and lie. If you are legal, by all means walk into court with your documentation and call out the cop and you will more than likely get the case thrown out and have no money out of pocket. Courts really dont like having their time wasted so if your are legal, you wont have an issue.

BTW, insurance companies are starting to look at all these things that people go to court and pay the fines on. My buddy is an insurance agent and tells me so of the things the major carriers are looking at now that they never cared about. At the end of the day, it is way to assign more risk to you and drive your rate up. Seat belts, lights, tint, all these little dumb things are now easy ways to see your rate go up.

Coming from personal experience, LET IT GO! I lost over $10,000 because of something I did not do and a lying cop. I lost my license for a year and was charged with a DWAI on two counts (drugs and alcohol) and a slew of tickets when I was pulled over for tinted windows. Mind you I swear on my entire family's lives that the only wrong I was doing was having tinted windows I was stone cold sober. Officer insisted he breathalyzed me and that I denied going for a blood test which neither ever happened. I in fact passed the field test with flying colors, the only truth he told. He also put in the report that I told him to f*ck off numerous times when I was nothing but cooperative and simply confused at was was going on. When its your word against the cop you will always loose. The battle isn't worth it, it will only get worse for you trust me just make the best of what you can. If I didn't have the lawyer I had, I would have most likely done a year in jail or at least been put on probation. This incident made me change majors and leave the criminal justice field. There will be bad people and liars every where you go in life.
