I initially was thinking the same thing, but the 556 is listed on Sig's website as a submodel within the 550 line. So I think they would probably lump it in with the 550 line which is on the list. Sucks.

You can add me to that list (except the liberal part).

Get off the paranoia trip. Even Feinstein recognizes it is an uphill battle and likely won't pass.

You are giving her too much credit.

Denial is a strong thing bro
It's already happening..

The fact that they are even trying to pass this kinda stuff is enough

This will be the starting point for negotiations by lawmakers to pass SOME form of this bill. Don't act like the whole thing will be tossed out.

Cant wait until someone comes up with an AR with a quadruple tube feed magazine with 30 rounds. Tube feeders are easy to reload in a gun free zone.

I was thinking about a NY compliant dual-six-round magazine handgun.

The Sig556 falls under the proposed ban. Semiauto, detachable mag + at least one military feature: pistol grip, telescopic stock, thing that goes up.
Replace the magazine release with a bullet button and specific to the SIG556, put a metal pin inside the folding stock release spring and that gets locked off. Still legal!

Theres a limit to how many rounds a magazine can hold, but no law dictating how many magazines a firearm can hold.

So we need stackable mags that hold 9 rounds a piece and feed through to the next mag up... I'm not an engineer someone else can figure out the how part.

Come on, people. Can't you all see how much safer we're all going to be with this legislature? Be reasonable!
