I plan on getting new wheels here in a bit with my tax return, and I was just curious about something. The guy that had my car before me had just put new tires on it before I bought it and there is still tons of tread on them, so I was just wondering if the 225/40-19 and 255/35-19 tires would fit on the new wheels Im buying. My stock wheels are the 19', 19x8 and 19x9.5. The new wheels are 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. I know the front would be stretched a bit, and Im okay with that, but Ive read that the correct upsize would be to a 245/35 and 275/30 tire and that the stock 255/35 in the rear is too tall. Would they fit?

The front might look a little funny. Nothing too bad. Run them until you need to new tires and get the right sizes.
