List of rejected proposals for NY gun ban

10. Require renewal of all pistol permits every five years

11. State issued pistol permits

12. Micro-stamping of all guns in New York State

13. Require licensing of all gun ammo dealers

14. Mandatory locking of guns at home

15. Fee for licensing, registering weapons

either way its bullshit.

The sheer fact that they though they could retroactively take things from the citizens goes to show how far they've gone wrong on this subject.

The bolded: how does that work? Label, then confiscate?

And 1. and 2. How would they confiscate weapons?

Could this a violation of due process under the 14th amendment?

There is no due process. They pass a law making shotguns that hold more than 5 rounds are illegal to own. Anyone owning one is automatically a criminal. They would have X amount of time to surrender them or else be faced with a Class whatever felony for possessing them.
