WTB: 330ci or 330i, manual.
Im looking for a Daily Drivable, well taken care of 330ci or 330i. My M3 bent valves and i need a car ASAP to use as transportation so i can fix and sell the M3.
MUST HAVE: Manual Transmission Sport Package Prefer: Harman Kardon Black, Silver, or Imola Red. Xenon Headlights Id prefer the mileage to be under 160k. 140's and 150's are fine as long as the car has been maintained. Cooling system overhaul is a HUGE plus. Id prefer to keep it around 7.5-8k for a good example, but i am willing to go up in price if the car exceeds my expectations. I will buy for what it is worth. If you have a good example, i will not lowball. Max budget is 10k. PM me, or feel free to give me a text or call at 207 749 1473. I have cash, and am looking for a quick and swift sale. No BS. Need transportation ASAP. Let me know! |

Nice talking to you today. If you change your mind about the transmission and you can pull some strings for the $10k, let me know. Thanks, and take it easy.

first thing I thought of when I saw this thread was Sam's car!
Now, Sammy, make sure you have that ZHP lined up before you let her go!

It is quite the car. If it doesn't sell with bent valves, ill be buying a new head and fixing it. I looked at the pistons with a borescope and there are no markings on the pistons. No dropped valves. A mis-shift or failed chain tensioner caused a jump in timing and the exhaust valves just kissed the pistons. Its a weekend DIY fix. Should be $500 for a new head, $600 for a new cut ring gasket, and $185 for new ARP studs. Minus what i would sell the bare head for, so maybe $1000 total when its all said and done. Im asking $9000 for someone to tow it out of my driveway. But if it doesn't sell, ill be fixing it and listing it for 13k again. |
