I would've thought it was an excuse, but she b!tched about it for months, so I guess she really did hate it. Oh well, now I can save for an s54 rather than take her ass out to eat all the time.

Am I the only one who thinks that shes just using that as an excuse to end the relationship? I'm sure the reason is she's either found someone else or shes just not interested anymore....That is how it always goes. Listening to a woman's reason for breaking up and actually believing it is pretty stupid.

One of two reasons - control, or she's found a new dick.

Both good reasons to let her go.

One-sided story != whole story.

This story = suspicious story.

At your age, if you're in a relationship where the girl bitches about anything "for months", you're doing it wrong.

Deal with it head-on, have a chat about what's important to you, what's not gonna change and why it makes no sense for her to bitch at you about it. Give her the opportunity to say why she gripes about it, maybe make some kind of concession if it makes sense, but make sure she knows that if she's gonna stick around, you're not gonna put up with bitching about something that's really important to you.

OP has 48 posts. That's not enough forum time/participation for any normal SO to notice.

I had this happen to. My Fiance when I was early on in my College life, broke up with me. She basically said its the car Which was my 93 LX Mustang Coupe, or me. I told her have a nice life. That was that. My x wife also complained about me spending to much time in the garage building my 67 RS SS Camaro. I told her well let me pay to send it off and have it restored. That shut her up. I dunno women can be weird like that. We will see how long my current fiance lasts.
