car wont turn on

last night when i tried taking my gf home my car wouldnt turn on!!! all the lights turn on just not the car -_- does anyone know what it could be?

no everything turns in fine but the car doesnt do an effort to try to turn on the motor

Probably the carbon rods in the starter motor need to be replaced. It's a cheap fix.

Bad starter or fuel pump. I'm not sure if our cars have a "priming" sound when you turn the key but I heard you can tap the pump as a temporary fix until you get it replaced, it's under the rear seat.

Try giving the starter a whack with a wrench or anything you can get back there. Its tight on these cars and a PITA to change it.
