I got an AL brand when I ordered my lenses, almost a year with no issues. Make sure you regularly clean your lenses too, check for any oxidation

for our generation cars bosch = AL. bosch owned AL and sometime during near the end of the e46 era they split into separate companies. the zkw xenons are the only replacements that you can't get because they are made of glass. all other lights use plastic lenses

So I've got one zkw and one AL headlight.
Can I use the Bosch lenses on both? |

not sure. i've never tried a plastic lens on a zkw xenon headlight before.
but bosch lens will work for the AL headlight. though they are normally labeled AL for facelift sedans.

I ordered these from Khoalty and they are fine. Def worth new ones over polishing. We luck out with our cars, most japanese cars etc you have to buy the whole housing and it can be over $1000 each. At 70 bucks you can't go wrong |

Hi. I'm the OP.
Khoalty sent me lenses. They are NOT Bosch. They were DJAUTO..... Not cool....... Wtf.. So back to the origion conv... Use DJauto not perfect fitment lenses or have my OEM lenses polished.... Kicking rocks. Everyone was so confident but what a fail. |

well you can polish them if you want, but you'll need to clearcoat them after. if you don't, it'll start to haze up like crazy each time

Will lamin-x prevent hazing?
What kind of clear coat? Spray paint grade? Or body shop grade? |

So is the fitment really off? Or why not just use the DJAUTO lenses? The khoalty lenses should be OEM quality either way.

Its so frustrating. They said that only the 02-05 sedans are off brand.... Wtf... They could be more clear about that.........
So I'm wondering what the best move is next. |
