Indy Shop in Houston?

Need to get a differential leak fixed.

From research, it's probably the front pinion seal.

Prefer to avoid the dealership.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

thanks

I'd actually like to know the name of a good indy shop as well for general maintenance. Moving in February to Houston.

I couldn't recommend 04330ciZHP any higher. Quality of work is probably better than the dealer. His shop is first rate.

And best of all, he is very reasonable. If you live in the Houston area and need any work on your ride, give Steve a call.

i HATE that they put on their own self-branded license plate covers without asking when you take your car in there. little things like that really piss me off lol.

otherwise they are a good shop. had them put in my UUC ssk a little over a year ago.

Damn I just passed an indy BMW shop the other day and forgot all about it until I just saw this thread. Now I'm gonna go crazy trying to remember what street it was on. I want to say it's on the North side somewhere... I'll find out lol.

I can tell you where most of the good Z shops are, and a lot of v8 muscle shops. I think SGP services BMW's as well as Z's. They're off Veterans between 1960 & the Beltway. They do great work, but have your wallet out.

I think the best shop in town though, is the one I built behind my house so I don't have to take my car somewhere else and pay someone a gazillion $$$ to work on it lol.
