My Ride: 2002 Steel Grey M3
Hey Ant's 2002 Steel Grey E46 M3 Slooow Progression Thread

I've dreamed of owning an M3 for the longest time and finally after 2 years of searching, I'm a proud owner of a 2002 Steel Grey M3. I've owned several BMW's before (E36 328i, E92 328i), and they were all great machines but it's never going to be anything like an //M. I picked up the M3 in 2013 of December, and it had everything that should be required when owning an M3. It's equipped with black electric Napa leather seats, OEM 19's, 6 speed manual and the color Steel Grey. Currently it has 111k miles and it runs like a champ.

The M3 wasn't completely perfect, cosmetically and mechanically. It came with aftermarket GTR hood from Vorsteiner painted body color, missing driver side fender liner, chipped aftermarket clear corners and a small dent on the passenger side fender. These were all small issues that can be taken care of in the future.

Here are the things I've done so far for the M3. All maintenance were performed at MiniCorsa in North Hollywood.

Maintenance:
Rod Bearings recalled previously
Subframe recalled previously
Valve adjustment
Power Flex rear trailing arm bushing
Intake Cam sensor
Camshaft position sensor
Cover lid
Constant Pressure Valve o-ring
NGK iridium Spark plugs with seals
Valve cover gasket
Fuel Filter
Ambient temperature sensor
Air filter
Castrol TWS 10/60

Cosmetics:
OEM Steel Grey hood (Replaced Vorsteiner hood)
OEM ZCP M3 rims with Falken FK452 (These just look way better)
OEM Amber Reflectors (Replaced cheap clear reflectors)
OEM Oval rearview mirror (Old one was bubbling)
OEM Sunroof Shade cover (All clips were broken)
OEM Passenger Fender Liner (It was never there)
Painted aluminum style interior trim
Racing Dynamics Strut Bar
Pioneer Z2 Double Din Head unit
FOCAL Speakers
35% Tints removed

Here she is sitting today looking almost flawless.

Thanks! My car originally came with the OEM 19's and they didn't look too bad, I just felt the ZCP's look a lot better
