I think the piano black is a really good choice for black cars.

I like the gloss black for pretty much all colors. Matte finish when there really isn't anything else matte on the vehicle doesn't make sense to me. I had matte on my last e46 and switched to gloss on the one im driving now after I saw they offered gloss and I am happier with the gloss look.

I like my flat black ones myself. Is your window trim blacked out also?

I ordered the piano black grilles for my Orient Blue 325i a couple of days ago. I think it will look great when I paint my wheels black too.

Piano black would look nice. Be sure to get some clear lighting around the car at the same time.

Go with the piano black.. Because once you wax your car the shine would make a matte grill look oddly faded.

I like the ones with the matt black gills and the chrome surrounds. Does anybody know where I can find them? I've seen pics but had no luck when I've searched for them.

I removed mine and sprayed a light coating of anaphalactic resin (wood glue mixed with distilled) in my grill--taping off the chrome.

I then used a leaf blower/vac to vac up some dead bugs/dirt from the driveway through the grills. Once it dried it had that tough look you get from driving hard and long (the ladies love that look iykwim?). Anyway, I never have to clean my grill...looks precisely the same as after I did this.

You can't fight the years, nature, or dirt...might as well learn to embrace it.

Your bumper has both. Look at it and see what you prefer (personally, I would stick with the original). Make a decision and live with it - like a good American.

You think I'm an idiot? My couch is all green. My whole fn house is green. That way, when I see my car it feels like home.

Did I hear you were bailing/didn't attend bimmerfest west? I hope not...we need photo record proving that some of those guys are real. Say hi to Drewdown for me. I miss him so much...maybe you could help get him back for us? Whatever he did, it's just coz he's stupid.
