If your going to do any serious mods why would you waste your money on a csl? They are nothing special.

They are a totally different M3 and then you have the rarity of a CSL, they are very special and we are lucky to have them here in Aus.

If you don't want big power, the E46 318i is about 100kg lighter than a CSL.

I would buy saintly's car. It's not as bad as you would think.

Pfft. It's still an SMG M3 at the end of the day. Buy a manual M3 with no sunroof, put a lexan rear window in yourself, get a vorsteiner boot, diffuser and front bar, remove all your side airbags, get some recaro poll position seats, put an good rear muffler on it and a good intake and you have a lighter faster CSL looking M3 that's more fun and reliable to drive and lots cheaper and you can listen to the radio

$10 says rear damage. Boot doesn't appear to line up right.

The CSL is special for what it is as a limited edition factory model. Would take a certain person to really appreciate that. I think you'd be much happier with a modified M3, I think the CSL will leave you disappointed and you'll end up wanting to defile it.

All of the CSLs (three) that I have seen in person look like that.

Weird. The lights don't look like they line up correctly. Pretty sure your CSL boot looks way better!

The back bar on the left doesn't look like it's sitting right either and the headlight washers are about 50 shades of grey different to the rest of the car..

I spent hours on mine with the diegrinder trying to get it to the lights line up and the boot sit right and it is still far from perfect so it needs to come off again for some more crafting and a repaint.

You going to put a boot / diffuser on yours?
