Window tint near Parsippany, NJ
I want to find a shop with decent prices for tint that is within 20 miles of Parsippany. I don't want to go to Union or Newark just for tint because if I need it fixed under warranty, it will be a pain to drive 30 minutes to get to the shop.
I've been to Sound Waves and they quoted me $299 for all windows and a lifetime warranty. I was hoping you guys know of places that are cheaper (<$220) and still use good tint.

I know about Top of the Line Tint and Tropic Tint but those shops are nearly 40 minutes away. I was really hoping for some place local that does good work.

Tropic Tint is worth the nice little drive. When looking at something that should last 10 years, you want good tint and good application.
You can find $100 tint jobs but they won't be good ones and you'll pay more getting it redone in 2 years. Tell Alex at Tropic Tint I said "hi"! Both Alex and Frankie have been tinting for 20 years each...you'll see it in their work. Whatever their price...just think of it as, say, $20/year.

Doug, what's their price for tints? Around 200-250 you would say? I'm thinking about doing mine, too.

My quote for just the rear windows on a E39 was $219 from Tropic Tint and $225 from Top of the Line Tint.

go to newark man. They are so cheap and their work is phenomenal. Takes me an hour to get there and all my friends went there to get their cars done. Not one went back because of the tint peeling or bubbling or fading.

Just got a quote from Sunrays Window Tinting in Denville/Kenvil, NJ. $210 for front and rear with Solargard tint and a lifetime warranty. They look to be the best choice so far.

Miniz...curious how your tinting has held up...was at my shop...next door to Tropic Tint...overheard someone saying something not too nice about that place. If they're right and you run into issues, give tropic tint a call (in Union)...tell them I sent you and they'll charge you more!
Just saw they did a hybrid 7 with ceramic tint. $500 for tinting...poor guy!
