Tim,

Combine all your car-release threads into an "Official 2013 Formula 1" thread. We don't have one yet that I have seen.

I'm glad the stepped nose is gone. That was so ridiculously ugly.

Still don't approve of Sergio Perez driving for McLaren.

Sergio's OK, but I hope that Hamilton falls flat on his face.

Sergio is "okay", but he's not "McLaren Good". They should have been talking to Robert Kubica about it, but if that was not possible, then that slot should have gone to Nico Hulkenberg or Paul di Resta. Both of them have more talent than Perez from where I see it.

I think Hamilton leaving McLaren was an eventuality. He was their golden boy for so long, but he's going to follow the money. I think he'll actually do okay. Schumi was the F1 equivalent of Brett Favre and past his prime. Hamilton is a much better driver, and I think that he'll bring a lot to AMG. I actually hope he does well, but moreso for the sake of Ross Braun and Nico Rosberg.

Why all the hate for Hamilton? I think with all the races he lost last season from the car taking a **** on him he has every right to want to leave McLaren

Hamilton seemed to be doing quite well in testing..but tough to gauge I suppose.

Looks like Ross Brawn is being shuffled out for Paddy Lowe. Never-ending game of musical chairs continues.

Hamilton even admitted this on Top Gear he knows that it won't be magical for a season or two. I think he and Mercedes are banking on next season to be more competitive with the introduction of v6 engine's for them.

Predictions for Quali and Race Podium?

Surprised by Merc pace, but not sure if it is real, I think a LOT of teams are sandbagging.

Quali, VET, GRO, WEB

Race, VET, BUT, ROS

I think vettel is definitely sand bagging but Nico has really surprised me as a driver over the past season. I expect him to do well this year I wish kobi would as well I like him.

Thoughts on a potential female F1 driver? Maybe even next year depending on how this season turns out but I doubt it but she is not bad looking for 30
