Opinions on audio factory remanufactured stuff

I'm trying to put together some components for the best prices and found a couple audio/stereo companies online via their Ebay auctions.

A couple I found at great prices, but they say they are 'factory remanufactured' pieces with the "warranty"??

Is this okay to still buy or not worth the hassle? Does it mean these items were used or something or just never sold?

Thanks for any help!

Nick, me personally would not go with remanufactured or refurbished electrical stuff.

In most case that can mean that its was defected by the company and they fixed it in house.

The money saved is not worth it but then again depending on the product you might be ok since its still has warranty. But this is on EBAY to much hassle

same.. i know some of the stuff out there that's been "remanufactured" or "refurbished" are good, but i'd rather spend the extra bux to get something that's NEW

I usually shy away from anything that was remanufactured or refurbished... hell I just like knowing that I bought something NEW.. i won't even buy the previously owned PS2 games i'd rather spend the 5 bucks more and know its NEW!!

i'm adding an xbox to my ice and it's a manufacture refurb item. comes with complete warranty. it's much cheaper to get refurb especially if it has a warranty i'd go for it
