DSC ABS failure

So im driving to work in my 06 330ci. 93000 kms and a few thousand kms from scheduled servicing.
Brakes have been squeaking a bit especially on hot days and kind of feel like a longer press to properly engage. Brake pads are new and brake fluid at max! So I was a tad concerned.
Going down a hill the yellow dsc and hand brake light jump at me. I pull over and read its a failure in pretty much the computerised breaking. Proceed with caution so I do.
After my shift the lights are gone. Still feel as though they could squeak and still feel a linger brake press engagement.
Any input as to what the heck happened and what I should do perhaps at my next service?
