Yeah most of the suspension parts have been replaced due to old age.
A lot of yanks are still going strong after 220kms! I wouldn't buy one with k's that high, but i was thinking of finding one with about 120-150ks as they're in my budget. Just worried about engine, diff and tranny. Last edited by M3N7AL; 02-11-2013 at 08:50 PM. |

Been looking at SUV's and now have officially ruled out the RR Vogue SC.
Still on the list ML63 (if i can find one in budget), X5 V8 and RR Sport SC. I went and seen a RR Sport SC and fell in love with it, black with white interior. Then i went and seen an X5, drove it and fell in love with it, it's black with tan interior, very nice. How do i decide? |

Good to hear that you ruled out the Range Rover Vogue Supercharged, hate the styling of that car.
Like I said, love the E70 shape, quality, and dynamics. If it was me I would be driving home with the X5 |

^ yep, same. I drove my mate's 3.0 diesel and I haven't enjoyed driving an SUV as much before that! Previously been through a RR HSE, Land Rover Disco, E53 V8, Pajero and Patrol.
I think you'll be very happy with the X5.

That's awesome, bit of a pain in the ass being in WA though.
The Range Rover is nice, i love it as a truck but the more i see some nice V8 X5's, the more i fall in love with them. I love the interior compared to the Ford interior of the Range. The outside of the Range looks better than the X5. But the X5 is slowly growing on me, the only thing holding me back from an X5 is they are very common. ML63 is the best option, but most i've seen in my budget have issues or are high k's. It's a tricky situation. I've driven the ML63 and loved it, never driven a truck that fast! Drove the X5, it is comfortable, love the technology but i see mum's everywhere driving them! I've driven the RR Sport SC and so far it's my favourite because it's more of a cruiser compared to the grunt of the ML63 and because I love the seating position of it! It's so confusing! |

I am a petrol person too - just never had diesel
My only concern with the ml's is they depreciate like b**** (I mean not that the other cars won't either - nobody wants the old ml's though) I do like that new generation of x5 - and v8 would be str8 pimpin fo'sho RR is orrite - but Like peeps said crazy costs if sh** goes wrong So for me X5 is the go - but get a good deal coz them x5s been depreciating quick too
