Drone reveals sharks near California beaches. Pretty cool stuff.

Lightning kills more people than sharks every year. Close the skies.

Let's put drones out to keep track of the lightning strikes.

That is because we kill hundreds of millions of sharks. If we didn't kill that many how many more attacks on people would there be?

You should be a little more sensitive to their emotions and feelings. Sharks are retaliating because of human privilege. Their ancestors were hunted and harvested for sport. All they want is a little reparation in the form of human flesh.

Their leader is actually half stingray and half shark but the fish population consider him shark.

When I lived there (Not Seal Beach but Huntington Beach where the pier in the background was), fishers on that pier would pull up small sharks all the time. They don't really bother the surfers, surprisingly... Kept me away from learning surfing though.

"Luckily no swimmers were in the water".

Cuz if there were, tragedy might have struck when nothing happened to them as the sharks avoided them.

Meanwhile several people have been gored this season trying to pose for pictures with bison in Yellowstone.

BRB, gotta be in the tank at the aquarium later this morning where I'll be hand feeding leopard sharks. Hope I live to tell the tale.

I want to build a drone.

Please give me good uses for having one so I can justify it to myself.

"more likely to be struck by lightning than be bitten by a shark"...or something.

Some people worry too much. But drones seem like a useful tool for lifeguards and other beach personnel to mitigate beachgoers' run-ins with sharks.

more likely to die from a vending machine than a shark attack... or cows... or we... a lot of things that don't inspire as much fear in people as sharks... but Jaws wasn't about a vending machine or big cow..
