Sorry to hear and glad you're ok enough to post. Did you get checked out just incase? Was it a bad impact? Watch out for internal injuries.

It was raining like crazy here yesterday, I was driving home on the highway and next thing I know the back just snap-over-steered sideways and I'm doing 360s across the highway between cars, nothing I could do anymore just hit the brakes and hoped for the best till I smashed the back in the center barrier, baaam.
Snap oversteer, no counter correction or no room to correct? Condition of tires? Slamming on the brakes is never a good thing...I assume you've had some car clinic or driver education? If not, now's a good wake up call to do that. It's what got me out on to the tracks a long long time ago and very glad I did it to this day. There is always something to learn from stuff like that in life.

They found the two suspects involved with the bombing, one of them killed an officer and ended up dying. The younger brother is still at large but I think they may have just captured him.

Yeah I'm OK, pretty much every muscle hurts in my body but it's getting better.

I did counter-steer immediately, hit full lock on the steering but the rear tires were hydroplaning so it was like driving on ice at this point, I hit the brakes when I realized that the car was completely out of control so I could slow down the impact speed a little bit. Tires were pretty bad and I was just about to order new ones, my fault

This all went down right where I used to live. Woke up to CNN highlight of door to door search this am in my old neighborhood. Perfect ending, one full of holes and dead - in part because his brother ran him over - now that's what I call justice! - and one from what I read is alive and left to imprison and torture or the rest of his life. Hats off to the BPD including two brothers in law one of whom was literally on the street between the two bombs went they went off and aided the wounded and the other of whom was slightly busy this week as he is top go between for BPD and BFD especially the bomb squad. Boston cops are among the best you will find anywhere in terms if their helpfulness and overall discretion, thanks to them and thought to the families of the MIT cop and mbta officers killed and injured last night - their sacrifice will not be forgotten.

I hope the field and crowd are bigger than ever next year and if I know my hometown they will be. F the cowards they will never win and the spirit of Boston and the USA for that matter is something that cannot be diminished. Ever.

Dude sorry about car and glad you're ok, between gf and automotive losses you're overdue for a lucky streak. I'd suggest heading I Las Vegas to meet hot girl of dreams and win mega cash to immediately spend on Ferrari or AMG black edition etc.

Hang in there.

From what I understand per Bro in law suspects found out their pics were publicized and immediately panicked, went and robbed a convenience store near MIT and then shot Ofr Collier upon sight fearing he was after them. This set off the final mad dash wherein the inspects carjacked a vehicle (telling owner "we're the bombers"... dickweeds) and then proceeded to lead hi speed chase during which older brother is shot then run over by younger in trying to escape. Younger also critically injured mbta cop in shoot out. After somehow ditching fuzz and fleeing on foot suspect hides in boat stored in someone's backyard and passed out. This am dude walking his dog sees blood on the ground when walking dog and then finds suspect in boat and calls PD. Following daylong standoff kid is taken into custody this evening.

Reading stories about the perps is nuts. Seemingly normal and not actually losers, older brother was sick boxer, younger was accomplished wrestler and a good student, big had decent lives and aspirations. Apparently the only thing they didnt achieve was the personal connection with their peers they hoped for? They resented Americans partying ways within context of growing Islamic conviction?

Nothing will bet make sense about it. They ****ing lost their minds. Such an utterly a kids or tragedy, so stupid. Somehow it's better than if al quaeda or foreigners because that feels like war. I guess we just have to accept that one of every x percent people is insane and capable of something like this?

Fd up
