Roof racks!

Hi Boys!

After half a year of lugging my bike around in my boot each weekend, i've decided to look into getting some roof racks. i'm looking into getting either a set of Thules with the 753 Foot Pack and either the Wing/Aero bars.

Does anyone have any experience with these and can provide some opinions?

Also, does anyone have any advice on whether upright or fork mounted bike carriers are 'better'? i know its a matter of opinion, but i'd love to see what thoughts are.

BTW: do let me know if anyone has some roof racks for sale!

Check out Gumtree or eBay... a little patience will eventually pay off.

Fork mount for carbon frame Phil! You don't want to clamp onto carbon.

Just keep an eye out on ebay and gumtree. I picked up a set of oem bmw ones for $50.

i know someone with some that doesnt need them anymore..

Yeah bought OEM ones for $100 and they came with the bike holders, piece of cake to set up and get your bike in. Less than 10 minutes to put the rack on and bike.

I have seen them on gumtree and ebay for a way better price than thule or rhino, multiple times.
