The E46 M3 runs on a Siemens MSS54 (Multi-Point), where as I believe the Z4M runs on the Siemens MSV70 (iso/can).

So you are correct in that it was due to it being a 'piggy back'.

Not only Basar, but other people also lost faith in proefi, at least I know of two people. The other is Providence, he also gave proefi back.
ProEFI as an ECU is phenomenal, but when working with a new platform its probably best you be within a few hundred miles of a dealer. I'm about the furthest from a dealer as you can get. I'm not having any issues, but I wouldn't want to be 'first' to work with an ecu when my tuner is 15hrs away... that goes for any ecu, not just ProEFI. I'm willing to bet if Basar (or Lutz) was in Arizona we'd have ProEFI running on these Z4M's.. just as we saw with the HPF to ProEFI converted cars back in 2011 that were in/near Arizona.

This is a special poject which was never done before.
This is a very heavy Project which is not just swapping a S54 engine onto a sedan. It does entail many many processed.

If it will work, it will be darn fast.

If you dont like it go away and stop spoiling my thread.

very funny, are you on E85? you must be high to make this low level of jokes

Saad, I am receiving mails on supraforums about you. People over there want you to go back to supraforums. They admit that thay missed you and your fighter atttitude. Supra community is nothing without saad

saad, you tried to underline the difference between you and me.
Now I give you our difference.

You came on board 2012 to make Money out of BMW World.
I ve been modifying my own bmws since 1996 as a hobby and its a passion for me. I dont do it for Money and I dont try to make my life out of BMW customers.

One day you will go away but I will keep on building my own Bmws. Till that day enjoy your days and try to make Money. I think you will loose customers with this aggressive and fighter attitude.

Note: you still could not explain why pro efi did not work on m roadster. I***305; think cause you ran it as a piggyback.
This statement isn't entirely true. You at one time were using this "hobby" to try and make extra money. You were selling turbo kits for these cars at one time many moon ago!!!!

And the fact that people paid and never received a complete kit!

Posting here does not give me anything other than criticism.

This AWD M3 Project is one of a kind unique Project and surrounded with negative comments.

Posting here does not allow me improve or to stop this Project.

I will be just spending time in front of the keyboard.

Best thing for me is to spend time with my twin turbo m3s and dont post here.

I would like my membership to be deleted. Sorry for taking your time.

Me too, screw the haters. M3 or not this guy does his R&D to the max! Clearly money isn't the issue and he didn't buy a 4dr xi to save on R&D costs, if it was possible to do the AWD on a m3 I'm sure he would have done it, just ignore the haters they only dream of a project like this.

Cry much? All we wanted to make clear, since you have failed to, is that this is not an E46 M3. All you have to do is say; "you're right, it's a 3 series xi I'm modifying with M3 parts". Instead you insist this an E46 M3 and use completely irrelevant comparisons to make your point.

Not one person has criticized the work being done here to your 3-series. A monster AWD sedan will be cool. Just leave the pretend bullcrap elsewhere. Stay if you can post factual information, leave if you cannot.

As for an xi being an awd ready platform

Basicly what differs from a RWD and AWD is :

+Transfercase mounted to gearbox
+Front transfer case
= Shorter driveshaft to diff
+ Front driveshafts
= Front hubs

I wouldnt say that by taking an xi and replacing these parts you're not doing less work than getting a m3 and doing thesame.

The xi awd system cant hold the power which mert knows and i have all the respect for him and his builds.

Please share your builds with us mert
