I skated for 20+ years, and this is just gnarly.

Would never.

I've hit ~50 MPH on my inlines in a pack of four people. 68 MPH? No thanks.

Damnnnnnn. I'd be terrified. I've gone fast as hell on snow on high-speed skis, but if I wipe out on that I feel confident I wouldn't be too hurt. This though is just nuts...

How do we know he was going 68 mph? Is there a news story or something?

That was sick, and a ballsy move not just for the speed but for banking on the fact the road was clean. I loved the speed camera

And if I had a dollar for every video I've seen filmed with a gopro set to that song, I would have a lot of dollars.

Do you mean clean of leaves/trash? I'm sure they scouted the entire road prior to riding...

Reminded me of the final downhill skating scene in the movie Airborne from the early 90s. SPDSKTR I know you wish you were as cool as these guys....

I was thinking rocks. They could have checked the road out for big stuff but all it would have taken was a little rock dislodged from someone's tire to ruin that run. Granted, that's part of the thrill, but still, it's a public road.

The wobble would be the worst part. Because that'd lead to me eating sh!t before hitting a car.

Speed wobble sucks. It really makes you start thinking about all the things you've done RIGHT in your life.

Tiny asphalt pebbles are not an issue with bigger longboard wheels like that at insanely high speeds such as this... Generally they are softer as well. Although something slightly larger could definitely do it.

I've been skating since I was 15 and those speed wobbles had me cringing.

Dude is seriously but a BIG
