From their videos, it Doesn't seem too durable.. if you rub it with your fingers too much it will deteriorate the coating.

Id be more interested in applications outside of the paint. Its obviously not clear so no glass and no paint, but it could do wonders on the undercarriage if it was durable enough.

That said, I know a guy who works for Boeing and he says glass makers are already capable of producing glass that nothing will stick too without any special coating.
The only reason it isn't on cars is because its a bit more expensive and it would put windshield wiper makers out of business.

I am pretty much sure they will strengthen the formula so it lasts longer. Can't wait to see this stuff to be used on automobile industry.

I wonder how this would work on rims? I like washing by car but I don't care for cleaning brake dust.

Read first page. It's still $400 and will go away after continuous high heat, high pressure situations

Rather see the technology utilized for interiors. They use banoyl for carpets, but as a detailer I'd rather see vinyl and leather coatings that do that.

$17K for 5 gallons, I want some!

Besides your windshield - what else would be cool to put this on?

Also - sorry if repost - I searched and could not find it in another thread. The name is stupid Ultra-Ever Dry. I know of a cruise ship that wishes it was coated in this stuff!
