Also - sorry if repost - I searched and could not find it in another thread. The name is stupid Ultra-Ever Dry. I know of a cruise ship that wishes it was coated in this stuff!
That's cool...

But only if they price it correctly.
RainX sells for less than $5 a bottle and doesn't require a spray gun.
RainX is already "put out of business" in terms of you can get a product that does the exact same thing for far less money....it's called baby oil. People buy RainX because of marketing, not because it's the only product of its kind.

Will you put baby oil on your windows? I'm curious.

I use a petroleum based sealer for paint on my glass... rain x is basically a harder wax coating, and a pain in the ass to apply. I just buzz over the windows with my DA polisher as I'm waxing the car and wipe off with a microfiber, the same time I'm doing the paint. You should be applying a coat of wax every month if its carnuba, and every 3 months if its a sealant at minimum. Therefore your glass will always bead water, and you are using the residual wax left on the pad, that would have hardened up and turned to dust anyway.

So, I might actually have a practical application for this stuff at work. We put this tray in a fluid that costs $600 per gallon and a lot of it evaporates or is drawn out of the chamber when you remove the tray several times per day. If I coat the tray in ever-dry... all the fluid will fall right off and we won't waste any

I'm gonna try to convince the boss man to buy a quart of it, and probably have a bunch left over to play with. Gotta think of something to use it on...

This will be sweet if they make it clear so I can use it on my wheels.

But I actually enjoy washing my car. Twice a year, whether it needs it or not.
