Engine service soon

What's the meaning of this? Is something wrong with the car? Is it bad? Like something's broken? Thank you

Can you tell us year make and model? You can have the codes pulled free at Autozone or Advanced or about any autoparts store for free...

Usually has something to do with the air in your tires...Did you put winter air in when it started getting cold outside? I would check this first, if not then move on to blinker fluid levels...

but for real...what matchee said

i've had issues with this before as well, however the last time my check engine light went on, it was because someone was in the act of stealing my engine. luckily i stopped them, and the light went off

OP, is anyone trying to take your engine? i would double check just to be sure...

They will tell you what the codes say - unless they are generic codes and then you will have to write them down and look them up.

This is probably the most honest answer you are going to get so get to Autozone and start from there...

Could be anything from gas cap to fuel delivery to ignition problems.

Take a deep breath, and call them

Not very bright are we? Some places will do it and some won't. If I remember correctly, most places won't do it because there is some liability, and probably because they aren't making a dime off of you. If they do it, they usually print out the code and what the definition of that code is. o2 sensor, bank 1 running lean, secondary air pump failure... etc

Here is some advice, and I want you to listen closely because you are asking questions like a high school girl who doesn't know what to wear for prom. Find a place that will run a code, get the code, go to google and search what that code typically means.

If you come back here and give several possibilities of what you found, as a responsible and independent adolescent like yourself, I can guarantee you will get much more help from members here than what you are getting.

Seriously shut your goddamn computer off and go find the answer, and we will discuss when you return.

Cause it really drives me crazy, I'm kinda scared for what is happening to my car right now.

Sometimes it's really hard to start up the car. And this past few days its always like that. I went to Arizona to check my battery and alternator they said its good.

Worst things happening to me is the engine shuts off when I'm stopping like in the stop light. Something like that's it just shuts off automatically.

What do you think is the problem? Help me guys!

There is a reason these guys are working at autozone and not for a SAE reputable shop....take thier advice with a grain of salt and come back to this thread with the codes
