Falken Azenis FK- 453

Just wondering if any one is running the falken azenis fk-453, if so how do you like them, I am currently running the hankook v12 and I like them, just looking at different options down the road, Thanks for your opinions.

Those tires won't last long with only a 300 treadwear rating....

The hankooks only have a 280 treadwear, so in theroy they should be close as far as, how long they last, thanks for your feed back

You're welcome! I myself am looking at getting a set of Goodyear Triple Treads. 740 tread-wear rating with an 80,000 mile warranty. The reviews have been excellent so far. The tire costs more than the ones you're looking at but I figure they'll last a hell of lot longer so it'll be much more cost-effective in the long run.

I was originally looking at the V12's but I was concerned about poor treadwear life so I instead went with the Hankook Ventus V2. 500 treadwear rating, quiet and pretty cheap. I paid $352 shipped for my set from Discount Tire. I've only had them on the car for 100 miles or so but I'm quite pleased with them compared to my old Continental's which were noisy and had no grip at all.

My car has a stagered set of 19's so the v2 does not come in my size, like I said, I like the v12's, was just curious about the falkens, thanks you guys. I appreciate the input thus far.

Wow, I guess I am a little suprised that no one has tried these tires, they seem pretty comparable to the hankooks. Well maybe in a few months when I need tires I will give them a shot.

If I'm not mistaken the FK-453 is replacing the FK452. They will probably wear similarly.

Thanks, I have seen some positive comments on the 453, and not so good on the 452, so I don't know if its a total revamp or just an update, kinda hoping to get some feed back from people running them, so far it seems to be slim pickings.
