WI Gun show madness...

The wife & I went to a gun show today.

AR-15 related items were in full "holy ****" mode. The only normal priced AR-15 item I saw was a Magpul trigger guard ($8).

Highlights:
New GI Mags - $45-55/ea
Used, Beat to **** AR-15 GI mags - $15.00/ea
New Magpul PMag - Anywhere from $45-85/ea
Used Magpul Pmag - $35/ea
Cheapest AR-15 found: Used Bushmaster AR-15 - $1,600
New & used AR-15's - $2000-4000

I've read some success stories on here & Reddit of folks going to gun shows late and getting guys that lowered prices.... no dice. Show started Fri, ended today. I went at noon - closed at 3pm.

I don't get it. Prices are settling down everywhere on stuff and people are still buying this inflated stuff at gunshows

I'd have paid $10-15 for the new GI Mags, $5ea for the beat-to-shit mags (nothing a skat-blast machine & fresh paint wont fix)

Was NOT going to pay prices as listed...lol

I am done with the crappy overpriced gun shows. Probably better to check pawn shops now. Wait for the madness to go down. I can actually still find deals on most things online without the frustration. Sucks when pay $8 to get in a gun show, then can't even look at a table because people are drooling looking at overpriced AR/AKs. Glad I got my S&W M&P AR-15 Sport for $599 shipped about 5 months ago.
