can i use the mounting bracket included in Alpine changer box?

i ordered the alpine mp3/cd changer. do i need to get the OEM bmw mounting bracke, or do they come with the alpine changer?

My alpine changer came with brackets. u can easily screw it onto the roof of ur trunk on the piece of metal.

Here's a pic

You can see my Pioneer changer is sitting a little high. I could move it down and make it flush just by drilling a couple of holes in the supplied Pioneer bracket.

You should be able to make the bracket you have work.

Also, you can see the OEM trunk liner. It has a storage bin on the right. I guess you can put a spare cartridge there.

dillard, my liner looks exactly like yours,it came like this from the factory. did you get the liner as a kit? or it came like this from the factory?
basically i dont need to buy the bmw liner kit from the parts dept because it already has the opening for the changer,right?

how did you manage to mount the changer without using the bmw mounting kit?
