on a side note - have you seen primer? one of my top 5 and one I think you would definitely appreciate. Not dark, but complex and scientifically focused. It's one you'll have to watch more than once to catch all the iterative plots.

Watched it today and thought it was pretty good. Definitely one of those movies I have to pause afterwards to try to rectify what I just saw. Reading the interpretations is almost as entertaining as the movie.
