Change the differential? People say it makes a huge difference in how the car runs

Get a light weight flywheel and a auto diff, like a 3:38, throw an LSD in there, it would make a world of a difference, I did that to my stock 330i, it turned in to a whole different car, but I have a 6 speed so you would be cruising at 65mph at like 3200 rpm

F/I cams, lightweight flywheel, and yes, a dif. I have a 3.46, made a world of difference. Also sounds dumb but I got lightweight wheels and they helped as well.. If you think about it kinda like Nike free runs vs boots
