Write out your symptoms for guys that might know but don't want to see 3 min. vid...

New Light control module...it's not working. Dealer says it needs to be coded because it has a reading for mileage which must be coded to the car. Is that right? Would that explain why it's not working?

OP...detail your symptoms...and what you were doing electronically to car...anywhere.

So car had bright lights
Right after that when ever the car is at ACC or runing the headlights and the tail lights stay on
When I take out the Light control module they turn off, how ever no matter what I do I can't turn on my turn my turn signals or even Emergency flashers
Dealer says that if I install a LCM from another that some how it will read other cars mileage(wth)
Also they estimated te repair over the phone just guessing it to be 800$ plus tax
And still don't guarantee that it will fix the cars problem

LCM is one of two (three?) places mileage is stored. Has to be coded with a GT1 or equivalent. Find an indy.

Dont if leaving it battery less over night might help
But thanks lol dealer still wont Do the coding without a 140/Hr Diagnosis and repair bring the total to 550$ plus tax
also is there a reason why it stores the mileage and
what is the bad thing about the tamper Dot ?
asked the local authorities they say its fine with them as long as the Emission is ok (live right next to sheriff)

Mileage is redundant, stored in DME, LCM, and the cluster as well I believe. Like I said, find an indy to code it cheaper. The tamper dot just means the mileage in the LCM and elsewhere do not match, and will make the car very difficult to sell to someone who knows what they're looking at.
