If your car has halogen headlights, you will have to have them programmed, via coding to accept the Xenon headlights or buy some kind of Relay resisters to make your car think your running the halogens, The auto leveling will not work because you dont have the auto level sensors on all 4 of the suspension arms, but autoleveling isnt really a big deal, doesnt really make a difference and mine doesnt work anymore because my car was lowered and i dont care, just make sure there aimed properly, next as far as them swapping, we need to know some information are you swapping from a coupe to a coupe or what ?

Just get a BMW scanner 1.4 and reprogram the xenons.

Coupe to coupe yes they will work. Coding should be done to avoid any issues such as flickering.

yea you probably will have to code them, i swapped some in a few ive had and they all flicker and shut off after a minute, i used resisters on one that i got from the retrofit source but then the computer figured it out somehow and started doing it again so easier to get em coded and be OEM
