Will do. I think I might give those superbrightled ones a try. They only have 1 led and a 130 degree spread so they seem promising. I really hate the crazy bright one. I don't like obnoxious crap like that

I went with the Sylvania led bulbs you can get from advance auto. Kinda spendy at $12 a bulb, but I was getting sick of buying eBay bulbs. They are not too bright, and they get the job done.

I bought the 16-led ones from Amazon. With people that have these.. too bright? I was thinking of blocking out some of the LEDs. thoughts? (sharpie?)

i think it depends on your car color too. on light color cars it's bright as hell, while darker colors it looked perfect. i used an older style LED lights similar to these (but instead of metal, it's encased in clear plastic) for awhile before i upgraded to OEM with my CSL trunk:
