The ones who introduced the bill.

Due process just went out the window.

No, but really the DHS didn't purchase 450 million rounds all at once, they entered into a contract to potentially receive that many over a 5 year period starting in June 2012. These rounds are intended for the TSA, US Customs, Secret Service, DHS, etc. It's called strategic procurement. They've been doing it for years, it's just recent news that Breitbart and Infowars have latched onto to sell their swill.

There's enough reading out there that talks about the fact line of this and it's been discussed before. The bulk of what people are getting all in a tizzy about is based off of chain emails from Infowars, which is sad.

i know for a fact that some agencies train with hp's, it definately isnt as big of a deal as people are making it out to be. but, if the president is willing to ok drone attacks on us citizens over suspected terrorist involvement, then whats to stop him from escalating

Hundreds of millions of citizens that are well armed. Drone operators who are, themselves, US citizens who wouldn't essentially blow up their potential neighbor.

(I find the drone issues concerning, as well, don't get me wrong).

The solution to UAVs is simple. Stay in crowded areas. Hellfires make a big boom.

the issue isnt even whether or not they go through with it though. it is the fact that it is a very real option. the fact that the thought is already in the minds of the government is unsettling

are you familiar with milgram's electric shock experiment? are you aware of the complete lack of personal responsibility and moral decay that continues to rise in this nation?

im not saying it is definately not going to happen, in fact it is probably very unlikely to happen. however, there is still a (real) possibility.

US government would never use a drone on a large gathering of people like a wedding or something.

our government is so bloated with ridiculous expenses as it is...no way they can afford to put this in play.
It would never pass in MO. Even in NY, they would have themselves a war if they actually tried confiscation.

I agree.

He is thinking about moving to Tx, Montana, or Idaho.

I think just the fact that gun confiscation bills are being introduced in American state houses is disturbing enough, even if they can't pass.

i missed this comment earlier, but i do agree.

but, we have the media and the far left to thank for politicians putting sh!t like this through. i think we can all agree that they wouldn't throw this sh!t against the wall if it wasn't to win votes.

i'm not far left, nor far right, but both sides so a lot of damage in their entrenched ways of thinking IMO.

Part of me is actually happy that all of these bills are being introduced. The two faced politicians are finally being exposed for what they really are and it will be impossible to hide behind a veil of pro-2a anymore. Hopefully, anyone that was swayed by the fancy talk of politicans never trying to take away guns will now fully understand that they must stand up for themselves.

These bills are all being introduced as a "bandwagon effect" reaction to NY passing theirs. The issue is that NY passed theirs without any concern for the repercussions with regard to the building class action lawsuit that would, and has now, been filed. It's basically some uber-libs hoping to capitalize on the momentum and maybe get something passed. In most areas, I would suspect that they're either hoping that the fear mongering and the "blood of dead children" will make people support the bans, or they are introducing the legislation knowing it will get shot down, but will be able to use it to get re-elected in the future.

Missouri is going to be in a world of hurt if they pass that. MidwayUSA is a major buisiness and does over $100Million per year in sales and transactions. Missouri stands to lose hundreds of jobs and thousands- if not millions- of dollars in annual tax revenue.

Colorado is already backpedaling after Magpul told them they were about to pack up shop. Hopefully Missouri gets their head out of their ass and drops this.

The out-state areas are all pro-gun, and we have a huge gun culture here.

But if it did pass, I'd move.

Legislation isn't due process.

Come take them. But you're not doing it without going to court.

First the second, now the fourth. Washington bill would allow local LE to "inspect" your home. No warrant, no PC. Just 'cause.
