Estimating your Body Fat % : A Visual Guide

For those who haven't got at minimum a caliper test (Forget a scale) this is a decent way to ballpark your BF %

http://www.builtlean.com/2012/09/24/...age-men-women/

And for m3inline6, I prefer females in the 22-25% range

So I would guess I am right at about 20%. 15% would be nice. My scale at home says 20%, my height weight, age, calculators say 20%. 15% by April 2013. Here I come.

I am in the 8-9% range. When I'm severely bloated (..usually by food that my body doesn't agree with), I have the visual impression of someone in the 10% range.

P.S. 20-25% for women isn't bad at all. I prefer the 15-17% range, but 20-22% will do.

I had a caliper test done and I was at 11% last week, so that's about right.

Nice resource. Thanks for posting. My wife just found a picture of me from a few years ago when I was 60lbs lighter and about the same body fat as now. I will have to take a new pic and post a side by side.

I'm probably in the 15 - 18 range which is where my body likes to settle based on my lifestyle and habits.

Thats an interesting comparison for sure, I'm the same ... 15-18% it seems, before I got into fitness/nutrition thats where I was always around eating whatever.

And I just had two plain hamburgers and a super sized fries from McDonald's (..cue BreakMyWallet's anti-McD's grimace). Gotta power myself through today's front squat/hang clean/dip workout.
