Arrow FS: Brand New Diamond Key Fob + Transponder (cut)

Purchased this 2 months ago to replace the worn out keys I had, but the car is now totaled, so this is useless to me. Gave the tow yard the old worn-out ones.

It is cut, but it is literally brand new and never used.

$75 obo

You'd need to get a new blade cut and a new transponder (which will need to be paired to your car). Pretty much all you're buying here is the shell and remote.

Well, you can pair it with you car and use it to lock and unlock the doors and trunk. (you don't need to change any modules in your car) You just couldn't use it in any cylinders.

The tiny switches on my transmitter broke off and I now have to put the key into the door to unlock everything. If I remove the transmitter from this key and put it onto my key would it work if I paired it? Would my car start?

I think that if you tried to remove the transponder you would destroy the key. It isn't made to come apart. But if you are able to somehow I think that would work. You would have to take it with your car to get it coded to the car though. You would be able to get it to lock and unlock the doors by doing the sequence in the car, but it still wouldn't be able to start the car with out getting it coded.

Yeah your probably right. I'll just buy a new key. No biggy. This key would be useless.
