Missing Rear Deck Speakers

I took off my rear deck speaker covers only to find missing speakers. What affordable speakers should I get? Where can I get the screws for the housing?

Re: Missing Rear Deck Speakers

Find the part number through realoem.com and either special order through bmw or that website should state bolt dimensions. Go to hardware store and find equivalent

What are your options as far as fitting? Thats the wrong question. Any 5.25 should fit. I think you can even go bigger but that isn't the problem you will face. It's the way bmw designed the entire stereo system. Nothing will sound good unless you switch it all out.Find yourself some cheap used stock ones and call it fixed

Crutchfield says 6 1/2" speakers fit the rear deck. Is this true?

Cool. Which ones did you get? Did it come with screws and wire adaptors?

Yes that is true. I have installed a pair of infinity perfect 6.1 kappas in the rear. They drop in without any mods. They sound great!

We offer a plug and play rear midbass replacement for your vehicle that will improve the sound quality, and is also backed by a 4 year warranty. It would drop right in and plug into that factory connector. If you have any questions on this please feel free to contact me directly!
