how to get my new stereo to fit!!!

Hi people...please help!

Ive decided to upgrade my sound system with new headunit, rear speakers, sub and amp.

Everything is wired and working fine, but for the life of ne i cant get the wires to fit behind the headunit. Has anyone got any tips? Obviously theres a few extra wired behind which is stopping it from going in. Any advice would be muxh appreciated.

I have 3 sets of RCAs (2 sets for my interior amp, and 1 for my sub amp) running from my head unit, down the passenger side of the car to the trunk on the driver side (to not have any alternator whine)...I had to pull on my wires where they come out from the dash going under the carpet to remove all slack inside the head unit area...don't pull too hard as you may end up unplugging the RCAs...My unit now has plenty of room

I have a dvd player which im sure has many more wires than you do. Pull out the a/c vents above the HU to have easier access to the wires in the back. Should be what you need to get the HU in there.

These vents are a bit of pain to remove. Get the radio out, remove the two screws, sit on the driver side, push the vent up. While doing this, twist and pull outward. Eventually the vent will get out.

+1 to pulling the AC unit out, it will definitely help you be able to move cables around to a position that allows it to slide in. Also just yank real hard on the vents from the bottom once you have the 2 screws out.
