Next car to buy??

I'm going to college on the west coast next year and leaving my beloved 3 series on the east coast. I have decided I would rather save up this year and my freshman year and buy a California car out there my sophomore year. My question is what should I buy. My ideas....
2006 or 07 z4m coupe- love the look, and I want some fast and sporty.
2002 or 03 e46 m3. Why not ha?? Downside is maintenance.
2008 sti- cheap to maintain yet higher initial cost.
I have 2 jobs now and have already started saving and plan on working throughout college. I also already have 3/4 of tuition covered my scholarships
Any suggestions??

Suggestions? Yeah. Save that money so you can support yourself after you leave college and find yourself in the real world.

You can't afford a Scion, but some how you believe you can afford an out-of-warranty high performance car? Time to start learning some fiscal responsibility. Keep your car. Do well in college. Get a good job. Buy a car you can actually afford.

Either bring your car with you or buy a cheap POS. No one in college cares about what car you have parked in the garage. Save your money.

I'm about to pick up a 2013 Cadillac ATS (2.0l I4 turbo rated at 272hp, RWD w/ LSD, 6-speed Tremec manual transmission) on Friday... should be a fun little car! What really interested me was this:
