m3/coupe headlights

iv recently been doing abit of work to the body of my e46 318i such as m3 csl front bar, carbon lip and a fresh respray in laguna seca blue. i was thinking today the orange indicators on the front looked kinda crap tbh and quite like the look of the coupe headlights/indicators rather than go out and blow a bunch of coin testing it i thought someone on here has thought of doing something like this before

if i was to swap the headlight, indicators and the molding underneath the headlight would it work? would the guards need to be swapped or modified to fit the indicator? are all the mounting spots the same?

You can pick up clears from any of the vendors on the sight. M3 lights on fit prefaclift coupes.

I was thinking the same thing, wouldn't it be much cheaper/easier to switch to clears to get rid of the ambers?

you'd have to modify the fender's front corners, etc if you did the front conversion

mostly just want it for the m3 look iv noticed the coupes where the indicators meet the headlight there is a corner ( for right and ) for left when you look at it front on where as a 4 door has / if that makes sense

but i think the clear indicators would probably be the best option

someone on the forum stated that the / between the sedan preface light and indicator match the lines of where it meets the hood to fender line. although true i didn't agree it looked cleaner.

clear (or those smoked corners) might be cleaner looking and easier in your case.
