Orient Blue E46 PreFacelift Build

Hi all,
So I've been a member for a while and have been meaning to do this but am terrible about taking pics because I work alone. I got a really good deal on this car and figured I'd hold out until I get out of college to do a transplant. In the meanwhile I'll try to keep you posted on maintenance and mods that I do. So where to start.
Here is what I started with..

Mine sitting next to my brother's facelift

Then the angel eyes were added... eh idk hooked them up to the parking lights at first, but then I hooked them up to the footwell light. Finally I deleted the outer rings where just the inside halos light up.

Then I thought hey lets throw an M3 bumper on there see how that looks..

then I said no. thats not right. and got the mtech2

alright added the euro lights can't decide on how they set with me

took those horrid matte black grilles. they look terrible and cheap after a few months. not a fan. went back and bought some oem black and chrome. i still haven't got a good shot of the new ones but will soon.

valve cover gasket replacement. +spark plugs and a couple of vacuum lines

pretty easy stuff.

as you can see I broke the crank case valve breather thingy over there and had to replace with rubber hosse and o-rings. not excited about it.

Last picture of the car looks good. Minus those horrid corner lights and you need grills! Just get some regular clears and it will look much better. But the Mtech looks good! Oh, and tell your brother to get rid of those caliper covers!

i told him that shits weak but he is in his own bmw world lmao. i agree with you on the corners. instead of buying more corners I'm going to hold out on a facelift conversion this summer.

We have the same car! I really love how the Style 68's look on your car though. I stuck with the Style 45's as I like them with the blue paint and the tires are really cheap haha.

interior stuff.
First thing I did was I found some good manual front seats and put those in. Unfortunately 6 months of weathering has took its toll on my new seats and now my drivers seat is beginning to split on the seam of the arse...
I got an Android/WinCE Cd Player works 4/5 stars Android side is laggy but adequate I guess


Then I reupholstered my shift knob

all four wheels drilled slotted rotors

I still have my 45's I love them. Just before I got these rims I got new tires in case in the winter they pour salt on the roads and driveways. this year I haven't even used them.

began making led shift knob....


then I moved on to the M5 steering wheel and OBC retrofit


painted the button shroud to give more modern look and will match my gauge rings

with new carpets

got my fog lights and the halo setup






bought me some true playa shoes

twin exhaust. 3.5" burnt slant tip
