What type of OEM system do i have?

I've been checking this forum for a while in order to get info regarding stereo upgrades since the OEM system sucks!

The questions are regarding what type of system i have since it seems to differ from OEM system information posted here.

The car is a 2003 euro model which has:
The Business CD
Woofer/Tweeter combo up front
"Fullrange" speakers (no tweeter) in the back shelf

I thought i would find an OEM amp on the left side of the trunk but i did not! There is no amp in the trunc at all what i can see.

Can the amp be placed in an other location?
Are there systems with the Business CD which doesn't have a separate amp => the HU feeds the speakers directly?

Since this car was a limited offer with the comfort package and M-sport package, it wasn't possible to change or add any options so i didn't bother to check the stereo system other than it containd a CD.

AMP is normally found under the passenger seat

I think that this is the location for the cab model due to extra space needed in the trunc for the top.

I have the Sedan but checked anyway and didn't find anything.
