Local shop advice....First Purchase

Hey guys,

First time purchaser here. Im looking to get a 9mm. Shot a bunch, and finally narrowed it down to a 92a1. Im located in Monmouth County NJ and was hoping you guys had some suggestions as to where would be a good shop to purchase it locally. Also this particular gun msrp is $725. Do the shops usually stick to msrp? Or can you get deals? Thanks in advance.....Jay

It passed assembly. Still needs to pass the senate (it will.) Christie would need to sign it into law, or veto it. I *think* he will (sign it.)

I've been buying from these guys and have been happy, and treated well.

A bunch of smaller shops down here are hiking up their prices. Heck even cheaperthendirt is. Sad to say that the only places that are sticking to regular prices are big box stores.. Walmart, cabelas, dicks, bass pro, etc.

Kimbers can be found at or below MSRP at these stores. People will buy em and post them online for a $100-$200 profit. Seen a lot of these "BNIB" "Deals" on forums lately. Pretty sad.

It's up to you, but I'd look at a Sig 226 or Glock 17 for a full size 9mm over a 92.

But that's just me.
