A pair of 21's

I stopped in at a new class III dealer today and struck a deal for two gen 2 glock 21's. They bought a load of police trade in glocks for $423 a pop there cost! These were the absolute worse glocks I've ever seen. Function wise they were fine, dirty as heck but serviceable. but most of them had really bad NY triggers. He said he regretted the buy and they would not take them back.

2 of the guns stood out. They were the worse of the batch finish wise with grips wore almost smooth and old rust spots on the slides. Both of those guns had really nice triggers, riveling custom glocks that I've handled in the past.. and they were the only two "clean" glocks. The barrels were freshly oiled and the internals looked taken care of compaired to the other lint magnets.

Basically these two rust buckets stood out. They perplexed me... Who ever had them knew something about guns, took the time to swap in good internals and kept there guns clean but at the same time actually used them to the point of dang near wearing them out.

I just made a rather spendy order with lage so I was laken on the cash front. Paid for one today (still waiting to be approved) and in a few days I'll snag the other.

Talked him down to $350 each so I don't think I did to bad. Not to sure what I'm gona do with em... probably give one away and play with the other for a week or so until I grow bored of it and stash it under my toolbox.

I agree..I've been buying /selling stuff lately, built a free AR or 2 but I've also been buying a lot lot lately. Anything gun related I sell goes back to gun related parts. Selling 1000rds of 223 tomorrow that will pay for an order of 1500 223 and 500 45

I agree 100%....found that out the hard way. Also, being a gun guy.....I find it difficult to screw other people off in this time with taking advantage of the market. I think from now on.....I am sticking with classic and antique collection firearms. Right now, tailo is my hero for that....except I am looking for older weapons. Nothing feels better than having a piece of history in your hands that tells a story. Many can be found much cheaper than inflated POS AK pieced together guns or hacked AR builds people are selling for almost 2 grand.

Search Lagan Silekhana Palace in Katmandu Nepal.

A abandoned palace that was filled to the brim with turn of the century weapons. IMA bought it in 2003. It was so packed that they had to enter from the roof with everything from martini's to early bira guns. Basically they took all there antiquated weapons, filled a unused royal palace with them and forgot them for 100+ years.
